Yes, the fat Bill Bennett degenerates of the world keep finding ways to ensure that the American caste system is not unduly disrupted. This particular method of "stabilization" is kind of a Republican trifecta in that it hits on three things conservatives can't get over or comprehend: 1)racism (yes, everyone is a racist at heart, but to paraphrase Orwell, who said that all animals are created equal, but some are more equal than others,......_____________); 2)the notion that the war on drugs is a failure; 3) the notion that affirmative action (which I oppose, by the way) was invented by conservatives long before liberals gave it a name in the 1960's.
